I got as far as page 11 when I stopped typing on my fic that I lost to a corrupted file the other day. Tonight I saw the file turn up on my zip-drive lineup and noticed it said: 122K. Just for a lark, I clicked on it: and it opened!
I tried to open it yesterday and it either refused or opened with the zillion question marks. Then I thought I deleted it!
I have no clue what happened, but it's resurrected. I'm recopying it to a new file: "Extempore Reborn"!
